Mission Statement

Assisting family historians by connecting the history of their Scots-Irish ancestors (of Ontario and the American colonies) to Ireland and Scotland.

Our Vision

Through visual learning tutorials, as well as in-depth genealogical family reconstruction projects that they can use as an index tool for their research needs, our goal is to slowly expand our indexing project beyond Ontario to (1) the American Colonies, Ireland, Scotland and England, (2) all of the Canadian Provinces, (3) as well as Italy, Iceland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the Netherlands, and beyond; creating family profiles in every country and showing their migration through their lifetime. This will eventually lead to an encyclopedia of family histories in one location. It is our hope that other professional genealogists will also join the cause to unite the stories of families through the generations and give a complete history of their lives. We all descend from a very specific Maternal Ancestor, as the Genome project has shown, but our individual stories and lives lead us into new adventures and far away places that became lost along the ancestral journey. We seek to make those stories known ... and easily accessible.

I encourage you all...

This year has brought to light the importance of distance learning. COVID-19 has created a barrier to our community in many social aspects, including family history. Our community has found many repositories closed until further notice. While many repositories have begun extensive work digitizing their holdings, we are still in the infant stage at this point.  That has hit us hard this year.

Therefore ...

We have created this company with the hopes to streamline access to our community via an online platform. It is our hope that through our efforts, we can accomplish two tasks, at least: (1) bringing records held in repositories, that can only be reviewed in-person, into our online community; and (2) expanding the new digital efforts of some of the largest genealogical repositories into a compilation of documents that will make data more cohesive, precise, and professional. We strive to employ more Professional Genealogists in creating a long lasting legacy of our profession. Hopefully, our joint efforts will be able to create large compilations that will (1) allow the novice to search for their ancestor and find a professional biography of documentation at their fingertips; (2) provide new books available for consultation on a great many localities across Ontario, the former colonies and abroad in Ireland, Scotland and England; (3) join together the hard work of many researchers and historians in the Genealogy community into one repository; (4) serve, if nothing else, as a wealth of evidence with citation for the community to "double-check" their current family information on their families; and (5) aid the researcher in a combined effort through online education.

I, personally, have found that while some large companies have made huge improvements on the way we find information about our ancestral past, they have also allowed the novice to "piggyback" on undocumented work. This creates a snowball effect and almost defeats the purpose of what Genealogy is about. It is therefore, left up to the rest of us to encourage those that are interested in family history, to find PROOF. I am eager to make that a much easier task going forward. I'm hoping that through my online lessons, lectures, seminars and workshops, as well as my online compilation, transcription/abstraction, and indexing work - including future conferences - I can begin to bring all corners of our community together to understand that these undocumented works need to come under better guidance and give those that have created them the ability to search out the truth by using the professional community to guide them.
